Being the heart of Karakura, here you will find smiling children, happy families and cheerful friends. Storefronts and apartment buildings line the streets, and tall office buildings create an impressive skyline. Those of school age would do well to note the location of the high school. |

A rather large river that runs right through Karakura. It lies in a miniture valley, putting it at a lower level then the rest of town. There are only two bridges that connect the separated sections of town. |

Across the Onose, you'll find a rather expansive housing development, complete with happy families and beautiful parks. Kindergarden and Karakura's junior high school can be found here, as can the memorial cemetery and Karakura Hospital. |

Beyond the reaches of suburban Karakura, the buildings start to become less and less cared for. Once you're far enough away, you'll come across a place called Oldtown by residents of the city. Rundown homes and buildings are the norm here, and the few who still live here aren't the friendly type. Its considered among the few truly dangerous places in Karakura, especially up near the old hospital and the warehouse district. | |

A rather peaceful place, most Humans will eventually end up in Rukongai once they kick the bucket. The lucky ones will be taken in by a family unit and shown the ropes, but for the most part new arrivals are left to find their own place in this new world. Some become simple shopkeepers or craftsmen, while others may seek out a life of crime or adventure. Fewer still, those with some degree of spiritual aptitude, may decide to try their hand at becoming Shinigami, Gods of Death. |

A vast white sand desert, covered in perpetual night. The little vegetation that meets the eye is actually formed from crystal and while the sky has clouds, there is no water to be found anywhere. The few hollow who reside openly on the sands are formidable opponents for those without proper training. |

A vast expansion located underneath the white desert, the Forest is really a system of caverns made from white quartz pillars. Countless Gillian class, and even more lower class, Hollow claim the Forest as their den . There was a time when something else lived here, something that gave even the Vasto Lorde pause when coming and going, but no whisper has been heard in over 200 years. |
